How do you summon a Pharaonic Egregor?

The summon spell Pharaonic Egregor is presented in Major Arcana p11. The element is that of the Egregor’s Arcanum, listed in the Exaltation table on p9. The table lists elements, planets and zodiac months. These are copied almost verbatim from the astrological correspondences proposed by the Golden Dawn (cheat sheet here, color coded here, secondary correspondences here). I've reproduced and merged both tables below:

The table doesn't list one Ka-element per Arcanum! Is The Sun’s element Solar-Ka? Is The Unnamed Arcanum’s element Fire-Ka? Is the Star’s element Saturnian-Ka? That doesn’t make sense!

As my own unofficial errata, I'm giving each Arcanum an element that's actually usable. The short easy answer is that Pharaonic Egregor simply uses the summoner's Dominant Ka-element. A longer answer that makes the book's statement make sense would assign a Ka-element to each Arcanum, but after a few tries I've found that it's too much work for too little gain. The Exaltations are easy enough because they're based on correspondences already given by the Golden Dawn, but trying to assign the Major Arcana into a five Ka-element framework is... well, I gave up already.

The spiritual pentacle and the elements

In this post I explain the spiritual meaning of the Nephilim’s pentacle and the Ka-elements themselves. Although linked to specific game statistics, like Fire to Strength and Moon to Charisma, all of the elements have physical, mental and spiritual correspondences and manifestations.  It’s not one or the other . You don’t have to posit different cultures all have different elements to explain varying beliefs. Real occultism isn’t supposed to be accurate in the game world anyway, but the result of information leaks and cargo cults by muggles. Simplifying the rules

One of the problems with the Nephilim game was that its rules, a variant of the venerable  BRP , were overly complicated and probably not all that well suited to it. The French version eventually dropped BRP entirely starting in its third edition, and the current fifth edition uses a dramatically simplified rules system. This has inspired me to devise my own simplified rules system for the English adaptation. I'm not going to convert to Fate like certain others have tried . The task resolution system will still be BRP's roll under d100 with difficulty levels and variable results. But all the character traits will change. The standard attributes/characteristics are Air-Ka, Earth-Ka, Fire-Ka, Lunar-Ka, Solar-Ka, and Water-Ka. These represent the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of the character.
