New edition rumors debunked?
According to a moderator on the official Chaosium forums, they are not working on a new edition in any capacity. Whoever is claiming to be working on a new edition is not supported by Chaosium.
I don't know what to believe at this point. I'm gonna default to believing the official statement, but the whole situation sound so fishy to me.
One of the reasons Chaosium don't like to announce anything in advance is because plans and priorities change. I know Jeff Richards said in the past that he had been running Nephilim and there was a suggestion then of a new edition (I don't recall if it was "Planned" or "Under Consideration". Whether this has been dropped, put on (indefinite) hold or just dropped so far down the schedule/priority list that it is currently not being worked on is anyone's guess.

They have been releasing "Classic" editions of old games - but these have been the old boxed games (Early editions of RQ, CoC, Pendragon and ElfQuest) but (licences permitting) a reprint is not out of the question
